In order to gather ideas and influences, it was essential to analyse and explore several magazine covers. I found this useful to understand the forms and conventions of a typical film magazine; it highlights various methods that are used to interpellate the audience and gives me the oppurtunity to emulate their ideas. I analysed popular film magazines "Empire" and "Total Film". Clicking the above images while link to corresponding flickr analyses of that particular magazine cover.
